Mohammed sponsors Umrah trip for 120 residents

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has funded more than 120 citizens, including students from the Rashid Summer Camp, to visit Saudi Arabia on a private plane to perform the Umrah pilgrimage.
Also among those chosen to travel to Mecca are outstanding students attending summer camps in Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates, as well as a number of Government of Dubai employees working in support of summer activities in the emirate.
The pilgrimage, which is being organised by Dubai Hobbies Club, will feature a programme packed with religious activities, such as visiting sacred sites and revered monuments in Mecca and Medina.
Chairman of Dubai Hobbies Club and coordinator of the Rashid Summer Camp Aref Ali Al Abar thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his kind gesture and continued support by sponsoring worshippers to perform Umrah.
